The main lot serves the shelters, playground, restrooms, fields, cottage, and greenway access, but the City warns that parking is limited when multiple areas are in use. Overflow parking is in the lot before crossing the bridge; a rental does not guarantee a main-lot space.
Navigate to 5229 Awls Haven Drive and use one of the preserve's designated parking lots. Dog-waste dispensers are provided in both lots. Start near the Education Center when you need staff, exhibits, loaner equipment, or the comfort station; use the park map before choosing a loop from the other access area.
Apollo Heights Park is mapped at 756 Lunar Drive in Raleigh, North Carolina. Use the map pin for the park itself rather than a similarly named municipal office or neighborhood.
Use the City lot at 9501 Baileywick Road for the playgrounds, restrooms, dog park, shelters, courts, fields, walking loop, and Baileywick Greenway. Parking can tighten during leagues and heavy spring programming, so arrive early for a scheduled game and use only marked park spaces rather than nearby school or neighborhood property.
Use Baileywick Park's public lot at 9501 Baileywick Road and follow park signs to the fenced dog area. The same park serves courts, fields, playgrounds, shelters, and the greenway, so parking can be busier during leagues and events. Use marked spaces and do not substitute school or neighborhood parking without permission.
Navigate to 5857 Barwell Park Drive and use the community-center arrival area. The City does not publish the main lot's capacity, so allow extra time when programs or gym events overlap. For the community garden, two ADA-accessible spaces are provided along Barwell Park Road.
Use the main park and Community Center approach at 2615 Fitzgerald Drive. The seasonal pool has a separate address at 701 Crown Crossing Lane. Tennis construction expected to begin in August 2026 will close the lower lot and entrance and reconfigure accessible parking, so follow temporary signs and verify the active entrance before a sports visit.
Navigate to 10810 Globe Road and use the designated Community Center and park parking. The campus is shared with Brier Creek Elementary School, so follow posted school-day traffic controls and do not treat school-only spaces, bus lanes, or fire lanes as park overflow. A solar-powered EV charging station is available.
Use 5900 Buffaloe Road for the athletic park and 5908 Buffaloe Road for the Aquatic Center entrance. The Neuse River Greenway also has City-listed access parking around 5812 Buffaloe Road. Large tournaments and swim sessions can fill nearby spaces, so follow event signs and do not block field or emergency access.
Navigate to Buffaloe Road Athletic Park at 5900 Buffaloe Road and use the marked public parking closest to the signed dog-park enclosure. The 5812 Buffaloe Road address appears in greenway parking guidance and is not the clearest dog-park destination. Tournament, aquatic, and league traffic can fill the shared campus, so arrive early during events.
There is no single greenway parking lot. Choose an individual trail and trailhead first, then use Raleigh's Greenway Explorer to locate official parking near that route. The Explorer also identifies restrooms, bike repair stations, parks, and other amenities. Never improvise parking in a neighborhood, business, or apartment lot.
Caraleigh Park is mapped at 110 Maywood Avenue in Raleigh, North Carolina. Use the map pin for the park itself rather than a similarly named municipal office or neighborhood.
Navigate to Carolina Pines Park at 2305 Lake Wheeler Road and use the marked public parking for the community-center campus, then follow dog-park signs to the fenced enclosure. The lot also serves programs, fields, courts, playgrounds, and rentals, so it can be busier during leagues and events.
Use the City lot at 2305 Lake Wheeler Road for the Community Center, playgrounds, dog park, courts, fields, and shelter. The same address functions as a GoRaleigh park-and-ride, so some spaces serve transit riders. Follow marked park, accessible, EV-charging, and park-and-ride signs rather than blocking reserved uses.
Use the lot for the section you intend to explore. The City lists 4000 Lindsay Drive at the west end, 4924 Ebenezer Church Road, 2520 Noble Road at Kiwanis Park, and 22 Anderson Point Drive at the east end. Additional documented access includes Lassiter Mill at 3300 Lassiter Mill Road. Verify alerts and never use an apartment, business, or mall lot without permission.
Davie Street Park is mapped at 910 East Davie Street in Raleigh, North Carolina. Use the map pin for the park itself rather than a similarly named municipal office or neighborhood.
Recommended parking lots for the trolls and other major destinations include Flowers Field, Big Field, Dog Park, Lot A, Lot C, and Lot F. Park only in marked spaces in paved or gravel lots, not on the grass or roadside.
Use the north parking lot at 8305 Camp Durant Road for the park office and the primary public visit. Park only in designated spaces. Campbell Lodge has a separate address at 3237 Spottswood Street and should not be used as a shortcut to the preserve's main lake, playground, restroom, or trail facilities.
Eliza Pool Park is mapped at 1600 Fayetteville Street in Raleigh, North Carolina. Use the map pin for the park itself rather than a similarly named municipal office or neighborhood.
Use the main park entrance at 2100 Old North Carolina 98 Highway. The Welcome Center lot has two accessible spaces, while the playground and picnic-shelter area has four. Park near the facility that matches your visit rather than assuming every attraction begins at the same trailhead.
The City lists parking at 820 Clay Street and 805 Washington Street. Choose based on the nearest destination and event instructions rather than circling one lot: the park has entrances from St. Mary's Street and Glenwood Avenue, and concerts, weddings, school activities, and field use can change which approach works best.
Glen Eden Pilot Park is mapped at 1500 Glen Eden Drive in Raleigh, North Carolina. Use the map pin for the park itself rather than a similarly named municipal office or neighborhood.
Use the community-center entrance at 4201 Green Road, but expect limited on-site parking while the park is under construction. The City says the community center and Green Road Library remain open while outdoor facilities are closed. Follow construction signs and leave extra time rather than counting on normal park parking.
Navigate to 2900 Horseshoe Farm Road and use only the designated permeable-pavement parking spaces. The parking area provides dog-waste bags and access toward the restroom, meadow, farmhouse, picnic shelter, natural-surface loops, and paved Neuse River Greenway connector.
For the Crabtree Creek-to-Glen Eden section, the City lists lots at 4121 Blue Ridge Road, 1510 Glen Eden Drive, and 3800 Blue Ridge Road. For the Glen Eden-to-Reedy Creek section, use the documented lot at 3501 Horton Street. Choose the lot for your intended segment and do not substitute a mall, office, apartment, or roadside space without permission.
Navigate to Jaycee Park at 2405 Wade Avenue. The dog run is just south of the Wade Avenue parking area, and the City says ample parking is available on both sides of the enclosure. The lot also serves playgrounds, tennis, volleyball, fields, a shelter, and the community center, so use marked spaces and expect event traffic.

For a field, indoor program, or rental, confirm the assigned arrival area because the campus contains several separate activity zones.
Start with the on-site parking areas at 505 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. The approved park plan shows north and south parking areas with 166 total spaces and accessible spaces serving the community center and playground. Parking will be reconfigured during the aquatic-center project scheduled through 2029, so follow current construction signs and verify access before a major event.
Use the small onsite lot entered from South East Street; it includes reserved accessible spaces. Additional parking may be available on nearby streets where signs permit. Because programs and rentals can fill the small lot, allow time to read neighborhood restrictions and never block residences, driveways, bus stops, or construction access.
John Winters Park is mapped at East Martin Street between East and Swain streets in Raleigh, North Carolina. Use the map pin for the park itself rather than a similarly named municipal office or neighborhood.
Route to 2525 Noble Road for the neighborhood center and main park entrance, then use marked on-site spaces. The park covers 24 acres, and the playground, shelter, fields, dog run, and Crabtree Creek Greenway trailhead are not all at the same curb. For a field rental or event, confirm the assigned arrival area with park staff rather than parking on neighborhood streets or service access.
Navigate to Kiwanis Park at 2525 Noble Road and use marked park parking. The same campus serves the neighborhood center, playground, fields, courts, and Crabtree Creek Greenway trailhead, so spaces may be busier during programs or games. Do not park in nearby private lots or block neighborhood streets.
For the East Loop and services, use the Waterfront Center at 4601 Avent Ferry Road, the south lot at 5051 Avent Ferry Road, or the dam lot at 1320 Lake Dam Road. For west-side natural trails, the clearest start is Thomas G. Crowder Woodland Center at 5611 Jaguar Park Drive; the south lot also links both sides. Use only marked park spaces.
Use 4601 Avent Ferry Road for the Waterfront Center, boardwalk, accessible fishing dock, and paddling. Use 5611 Jaguar Park Drive for the Thomas G. Crowder Woodland Center and west-side natural trails. Additional smaller lots sit along Avent Ferry Road and Lake Dam Road; choose the lot nearest your activity rather than assuming the park has one entrance.
The City lists lots at Lake Lynn Park, 7921 Ray Road, and 3210 Lynn Road, plus neighborhood street access at 7609 Glenharden Drive. A fourth greenway lot at 6499 West Millbrook Road serves Wooten Meadow and Hare Snipe Creek rather than the simplest lake-loop start. Use 7921 Ray Road when community-center facilities matter.
Use 7921 Ray Road for the community center, playgrounds, courts, field, shelter, and a practical starting point for the lake loop. Lake Lynn also has neighborhood greenway approaches, but those are not substitutes for the main facility lot when you need indoor restrooms or are meeting for a program.
Route to 6404 Lake Wheeler Road and follow signs for your activity. The upper Waterfront Center lot serves shelters, the accessible fishing dock, and overlook; additional accessible spaces sit down the road toward the boat ramps. Trailer users should follow launch-area circulation rather than occupying ordinary visitor spaces.
Use the City-listed greenway lot at 3300 Lassiter Mill Road and the park approach at Lassiter Falls Circle. Parking is limited, so arrive early and use only marked spaces; nearby residential, business, and no-parking areas are not overflow. Construction staging beginning in 2026 may change the practical entrance or available spaces.
Navigate to 3808 Edwards Mill Road and use the signed Laurel Hills Park and Community Center parking. The campus contains the inclusive playground, center, shelter, pond, courts, and fields, so park near the signed playground and shelter area when minimizing travel distance is important rather than choosing the first field-side space.
Navigate to 5105 Country Trail and use the signed park parking shared with the park and nearby public facilities. The 2026 work improved the trailhead and added EV charging. Follow onsite signs and keep school, library, accessible, and charging spaces available for their designated uses.
Navigate to 516 Dennis Avenue and use the signed Lions Park and Community Center parking. The 41.4-acre campus includes the Center, playgrounds, BMX track, courts, four fields, and shelter, so follow onsite destination signs and avoid nearby Saint Augustine's University or neighborhood spaces not marked for park use.
The museum recommends the city-owned Wilmington Street Station Deck directly across the street, entered at 117 South Wilmington Street or 122 South Blount Street. It currently offers two free weekday hours and is free most weekends until 5 p.m., but Marbles does not own the deck and rates or event rules can change. Moore Square Deck at 233 South Wilmington Street is another nearby city option.
Navigate to 3050 North New Hope Road and use the signed park and Community Center lots. The 110.6-acre campus includes the Center, skatepark, inline rink, playgrounds, fields, shelter, and urban farm, so follow onsite signs toward the facility you need instead of assuming every area is beside the main doors.

Navigate to 514 Method Road and use the signed park and Community Center parking. The compact campus includes the Community Center, Pioneers Building, playground, pickleball and basketball courts, fields, and shelter. Follow accessible and reserved-space signs; future construction may temporarily change circulation or capacity.
Navigate to 1905 Spring Forest Road and use marked Millbrook Exchange Park parking. The 69.5-acre campus also serves a community center, pool, tennis center, playgrounds, ball fields, shelters, and Millbrook High School-area activities, so allow extra time during games, lessons, and summer pool traffic.
Navigate to 1905 Spring Forest Road and use the signed City lots within the recreation campus. The park is large and shares its surroundings with Millbrook High School and Fire Station 15, so follow signs for your destination: Community Center, pool, tennis center, dog park, playground, fields, or shelters rather than stopping at the first nearby lot.
The closest named city garage is Moore Square Parking Deck at 233 S. Wilmington Street. The City also lists accessible street spaces around the square. Participating downtown city decks, including Moore Square Deck, currently offer up to two free hours on weekdays from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and free parking on nights and weekends, except when special-event rates apply.
Parking is available at the park's 1 Mimosa Street address, with additional street parking along Cedar Street and Mordecai Drive. Accessible spaces are available in the Mimosa Street lot and beside the Visitor Center at 1101 Wake Forest Road. Orange signs guide the short walk from the Mimosa lot to the Visitor Center.
Visitor parking is free. Use the Blue Ridge lots to the right after entering Museum Drive for the museum buildings and north side of the park. Overflow parking is behind West Building. For the Welcome Center and south side of the park, use the District Drive entrance and its nearby parking area.
Choose a segment first; there is no single best lot. Documented access includes Falls Lake Dam at 12098 Old Falls of Neuse Road, Horseshoe Farm at 2900 Horseshoe Farm Road, Buffaloe Road Athletic Park at 5812 Buffaloe Road, 5428 Allen Drive, Anderson Point Park at 20 and 22 Anderson Point Drive, 1721 Riverview Road, Auburn Knightdale Road, and Mial Plantation Road. Verify the current map and alerts before driving.
The most convenient state option is NC Museum/Government Center Visitor Lot 1 near 100 East Jones Street, across from the Archives and History Building. Weekday rates are $2 for the first hour and each additional partial hour after the first 15 minutes. Limited free spaces around the Governor's Mansion may be occupied; obey current signs.
Do not park downtown for a normal museum visit: the entire 5 East Edenton Street building is closed during renovation and has no public galleries or visitor entrance. For an offsite museum event, use the parking instructions published for that event's host venue. For the separate Museum Shop at 108 Glenwood Avenue, check current downtown street, lot, and deck rules before traveling.
Green Square parking deck is the most direct option for the Nature Research Center: enter from Edenton Street between Salisbury and McDowell, then leave the deck's north side at the NRC rear entrance. An above-ground paid lot is one block east with Jones and Edenton entrances. Downtown state-government parking is currently $2 per hour; limited metered spaces line Jones and Edenton streets, and weekend parking is generally easier.

The same area serves two athletic fields, basketball, and the shelter beside the dog park, so games and reservations can increase demand. Navigate to 5900 Whittier Drive and use the signed City parking for the Community Center and park. Optimist Pool has the adjacent address 5902 Whittier Drive. Because the park sits behind Sanderson High School, follow park and pool signs and do not assume school spaces are available for ordinary park visits.
The City does not document a dedicated parking lot for this 0.09-acre garden. Use legal neighborhood street parking near 1600 Pender Street and North Carver Street, reading all signs and keeping driveways, corners, mail access, and residents clear. Do not use private residential spaces or assume nearby Fisher Street Park has overflow parking.
The museum has no onsite parking. The City recommends the City Center parking deck at 429 South Wilmington Street, which currently offers two free hours, or free weekend street parking where signs allow. Private lots beside the house may charge and can tow unauthorized vehicles, so do not assume an adjacent space belongs to the museum.
Parking is available at the park entrance at 520 Ashe Avenue, including accessible spaces. The upper parking lot is a useful landmark because several shelters sit beside it.

Most garden visitors park in designated spaces along Pogue Street. Only a few spaces are next to the garden, including two for vehicles with disability placards. Do not park along the narrow road between Raleigh Little Theatre and the garden. The theatre lot has weekday permit and short-term markings, so read every sign unless attending an event with different instructions.
There is no dedicated park lot. Downtown Raleigh Alliance lists nearby paid options including the 504 Hillsborough Lot, HBS Lot at 512 W Morgan Street, 309 Hillsborough Street Parking Lot, and St Paul Lot at 114 N West Street. Check posted rates and restrictions when you arrive; street spaces and private lots can change.
The clearest official trailhead is the shared NCMA lot at 2110 Blue Ridge Road, where Museum Park parking is free. Raleigh also documents greenway parking at E. Stephen Stroud Way near PNC Arena. If starting from Umstead, use a legal State Park access area and verify gate hours; do not leave a vehicle in an unapproved campus, office, or roadside space.

Route to 1500 Cherokee Drive and use legal neighborhood street parking where signs allow. The City does not list a dedicated park lot. Do not block driveways, intersections, or narrow residential circulation, and avoid relying on nearby private property. Arrive early for popular toddler meetups because curb space is limited.

Navigate to 2623 Sanderford Road and use the signed park and Neighborhood Center lot. The Center, playground, restroom, pickleball and basketball courts, fields, and shelter occupy different parts of the 23.5-acre campus, so follow onsite signs and leave accessible spaces and loading areas clear.
The main start is Sertoma Arts Center at 1400 West Millbrook Road. The City also lists a lake-adjacent lot at 1140 West Millbrook Road and neighborhood street access at 6372 Lakeway Drive and 6344 Rushingbrook Drive. Use the main lot when you need the clearest orientation or indoor facilities; neighborhood access does not guarantee amenities.
Use the public lot at 1400 West Millbrook Road by Sertoma Arts Center. It is the City's listed parking point for both Shelley Lake Park and the Shelley Lake/Mine Creek greenway connection. Start here when you need indoor assistance, arts-center access, or the most clearly documented trailhead.
Southgate Park is mapped at 1801 Proctor Street in Raleigh, North Carolina. Use the map pin for the park itself rather than a similarly named municipal office or neighborhood.
Navigate to 121 North Tarboro Street and use signed park and Community Center parking. The compact campus includes the Community Center, Saint Monica Teen Center, playground, tennis courts, and shelter. Redevelopment construction planned for 2027-2029 may change entrances and parking, so recheck alerts before future visits.

Wheel 1 contains five fields and Wheel 2 contains four, so confirm the field number before choosing a parking area. Tournament traffic and ticketing can change circulation; arrive early and keep emergency and accessible routes clear.
Choose the section first. Official options include 6405 Poole Road near the Neuse end; 584 Rose Lane, 574 Dacian Road, or Walnut Creek Wetland Park at 950 Peterson Street; 1600 Fayetteville Street or 1201 Agriculture Street near the central section; and Lake Johnson access at 1320 Lake Dam Road, 4601 Avent Ferry Road, or 5051 Avent Ferry Road. Confirm the current section map before driving.
Navigate to 950 Peterson Street and use the Education Center parking areas, which include electric-vehicle charging. This is the best starting point for restrooms, water fountains, staff, maps, loaner gear, animal ambassadors, Ross Andrew's Loop, and the Walnut Creek and Little Rock Creek greenways.
Use Crabtree Creek at 8801 Glenwood Avenue for the visitor center, camping, Big Lake, boat rentals, and many western trails. Use Reedy Creek at 2100 North Harrison Avenue in Cary for Reedy Creek Lake, group camps, picnic areas, and eastern trails. You cannot drive through the park from one entrance to the other.

Route to 2619 Western Boulevard and use the free visitor parking directly across from the garden entrance. The garden sits behind the WRAL studios near Western Boulevard and Avent Ferry Road and can also be approached from Centennial Parkway.
