The paved walking trail begins near the Baileywick Road entrance, loops behind the playground, and returns toward the parking lot, making the main entrance the simplest orientation point.

Field 1 is a lighted older-youth and adult baseball/softball field with a 285-foot distance; Field 2 is a lighted youth baseball/softball field with a 250-foot distance; and Field 3 is an unlighted grass multipurpose field. Scheduled leagues and permitted users have priority over casual use.

The two listed shelters are first-come, first-served. Shelter 1 has eight tables for roughly 36-60 people, no fixed grill, and electricity is not guaranteed. Shelter 2 has two tables, one grill, no electricity, and capacity around 15-30. An occupied shelter is not guaranteed solely because your group arrived with supplies.

The paved 0.6-mile Baileywick Greenway connects Baileywick Road and Strickland Road through the park and beside Baileywick Elementary School. It is a short neighborhood connector, not a continuous route to Charlotte or the main cross-city greenway corridors. The trail is open dawn to dusk.
