Yes. The shelter holds about 60 people and has 10 tables, but no electricity or water. The City lists it at $15 per hour and requires approval and payment before a reservation is final. Unreserved casual use may be available, but a posted or confirmed reservation has priority.

Kiwanis has a fenced dog run with benches, wood chips, and a waste-bag dispenser. Unlike Raleigh dog parks that advertise separate small- and large-dog sections, the City does not list size-separated areas or a water source here. Dogs must be leashed outside the run, and toys, food, treats, and outside furniture are prohibited inside Raleigh off-leash areas.

Yes. Kiwanis Park is a trailhead on Crabtree Creek Trail, one of the major paved corridors in Raleigh's Capital Area Greenway. The citywide system has more than 100 miles across 28 trails and is open dawn to dusk. Check the Greenway Explorer and current alerts before leaving because floods, construction, fallen trees, or maintenance can close an individual segment while the park remains open.

The renovated playground uses a rubber surface, and developed paths connect the main recreation facilities. Conditions and grades can differ at the fields and greenway connection.
