Lemon Hill

Use the mansion pin at 1 Lemon Hill Drive. The hill sits above Kelly Drive in East Fairmount Park and is separate from Belmont Plateau, Memorial Hall and the West Park attractions.

Do not drive to Lemon Hill while the park is closed. Event breakdown and restoration work can control Lemon Hill Drive, nearby park roads and curb access; choose another Fairmount Park destination until the operator lifts the closure.

Lemon Hill park is currently closed to the public for FIFA Fan Festival breakdown. Mansion access is also by scheduled visit rather than general park hours. Check the official page before traveling.

There is no dependable public restroom available while the Lemon Hill area and mansion are closed. Plan facilities at a confirmed-open destination elsewhere in Fairmount Park.

There is no general public visit while the closure is in effect. Future mansion tours or programs may require reservations or admission; use the official schedule when access resumes.

Closure fencing and work areas make the current visit unavailable. When the site reopens, confirm the mansion entrance and step-free route because a historic hilltop building and sloping grounds do not provide uniform access.

Do not bring pets into the closed area. When ordinary park access resumes, the City's six-foot leash rule will apply outdoors, while the historic house may keep separate animal restrictions.

Skip Lemon Hill as a family destination until the closure is lifted. The City has announced future playground, restoration, tree, lighting and accessibility improvements, but opening dates and finished amenities are not yet published.

This is a real temporary closure, not simply a mansion-hours issue. Recheck the official Lemon Hill page and City improvement updates before making the hill the purpose of a trip.

SEPTA buses serve multiple park edges, and seasonal PHLASH routes connect several attractions. Select the stop nearest the destination because crossing the park from the wrong side can add steep grades and a long walk.
