Fairmount Park
PhiladelphiaPhiladelphia's park system has a 10 p.m. curfew, while park trails are open dawn to dusk. Gated roads, museums, playgrounds, historic houses, events and staffed facilities keep shorter or separate schedules.
FDR Park
PhiladelphiaVehicle gates are open 6 a.m.-9 p.m. from April through October and 6 a.m.-6 p.m. from November through March. Pedestrian access, museum, markets, restrooms, programs, permits and construction zones keep separate schedules.
Franklin Square
PhiladelphiaPark and staffed-attraction hours change by season and weather. Through August 16, 2026, published daytime hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; the square is then cleared before the ticketed Chinese Lantern Festival operates 6-11 p.m. It is closed July 4, and later-season hours change again.
Independence National Historical Park
PhiladelphiaCurrent 2026 schedules differ by site: the Visitor Center is open daily 9 a.m.-6 p.m. with the NPS desk closing at 5; the Liberty Bell Center and most staffed buildings close at 5; the President's House Site is open 7 a.m.-10 p.m.; and Washington Square is open 24 hours. Holiday and operational changes still apply.
Rittenhouse Square
PhiladelphiaPhiladelphia Parks & Recreation has a 10 p.m. systemwide curfew. Farmers markets, water features, maintenance, performances and permitted events use separate schedules, and an open square does not mean a vendor or program is operating.
Schuylkill Banks
PhiladelphiaUse trail sections from dawn to dusk under Philadelphia trail regulations; the broader park system has a 10 p.m. curfew. The Walnut Street restroom, dock gate, tours, nearby recreation centers and events keep shorter schedules, and construction can close an access point without closing the whole corridor.
Spruce Street Harbor Park
PhiladelphiaFor the 2026 season the park is open Sunday-Thursday 11 a.m.-10 p.m. and Friday-Saturday 11 a.m.-11 p.m., including holidays, with special holiday hours. Activities and bars close at least 30 minutes before the park; vendor schedules vary and weather can close the site.
Wissahickon Valley Park
PhiladelphiaPark curfew is 1 a.m.-6 a.m. from April through November and 8 p.m.-6 a.m. from December through March. City trail regulations separately say trails are open dawn to dusk, so plan trail travel for daylight and obey any shorter posted closure.
