East Potomac Park & Hains Point

East Potomac Park closes to all traffic daily from 1 a.m.-5 a.m. Individual golf, miniature golf, tennis, picnic reservations, restrooms, and concessions follow separate schedules, and the Hains Point loop can close for flooding, snow, events, or safety.

Georgetown Waterfront Park

Kenilworth Park & Aquatic Gardens

Rock Creek Park

Park land is open sunrise to sunset. Public roads remain open 24 hours unless posted or temporarily closed; the Nature Center, planetarium, mill, stables, and programs use shorter schedules.

Theodore Roosevelt Island

The island is open daily 6 a.m.-10 p.m. Weather, flooding, maintenance, and parkway conditions can close the parking area, bridge, boardwalk, or trails.

U.S. National Arboretum

Washington

Grounds are normally open daily 8 a.m.-5 p.m. except December 25, with last entry at 4:30 p.m. Current summer weekdays may extend to 8 p.m.; buildings and the bonsai museum use shorter hours.
