Hammock Grove and Lazy Hammock

Enter from Spruce Street and Columbus Boulevard and follow the park paths into the tree-covered hammock core. The Lazy Hammock performance area is inside the same compact zone; it is not RiverRink farther north.

There is no hammock-specific lot, and CAP construction limits on-site parking. Walk, bike, use transit or rideshare when possible; if driving, choose a current waterfront garage before leaving.

Use the hammocks during 2026 park hours: Sunday-Thursday 11 a.m.-10 p.m. and Friday-Saturday 11 a.m.-11 p.m., subject to weather and special holiday hours. Lazy Hammock programs and bar service follow separate schedules and close earlier.

Use the seasonal public restroom at the Spruce Street Harbor Park information center during operations. Go before the site closes; RiverRink and Cherry Street Pier facilities are separate destinations with separate hours.

General admission and ordinary first-come hammocks are free. Food, drinks, reserved gatherings and separately operated activities cost extra.

Primary park circulation is developed and DRWC describes its parks as ADA-compliant, but conventional hammocks require a transfer and may not suit every visitor. Adirondack chairs, picnic tables and lounge seating offer alternatives, subject to availability.

Leashed dogs are welcome in the park but are not permitted in hammocks or on the barge. Keep pets clear of food lines, stages and crowded seating areas.

Hammocks and daytime programming are family-friendly, but each hammock is limited to two people or 250 pounds. Supervise mounting and dismounting, do not let children swing into paths, and expect a more adult atmosphere around evening bar programming.

All free seating is first-come, first-served, so a visit does not guarantee a hammock. Do not reserve unattended seats; check weather and the event calendar, and use conventional seating if a safe hammock transfer is not workable.

Walking and biking via the Delaware River Trail are the most construction-resistant approaches. SEPTA service reaches the central waterfront from Old City, but verify the current stop and walk because CAP construction can shift curb access and rideshare patterns.
