Billy

Look along the southwest side of the square near the sculpture cluster and Children's Pool. The exact pin is more useful than the park's center point.

Billy has no separate parking or drop-off. Use transit or a paid garage and enter from the nearest southwest corner.

View the outdoor sculpture during ordinary square access before the 10 p.m. curfew. Maintenance, conservation or event fencing may restrict approach.

There is no restroom at the sculpture and no documented standalone public restroom in the square.

Outdoor viewing is free.

Use the paved path network and respect lawn or planting closures. Crowds gathering around the small bronze can make the immediate area tight for mobility devices.

Keep leashed dogs controlled and away from the artwork, nearby children and plantings.

Billy is a memorable stop for children on a sculpture walk, but the bronze is public art rather than playground equipment. Take turns around other visitors and keep children away from street exits.

Visit Billy as part of a short loop with Duck Girl and Lion Crushing a Serpent. Do not climb, mark or attach anything to the bronze.

Center City transit is generally easier than driving. The square occupies the block between Walnut Street, Rittenhouse Street, 18th Street and 19th Street; route to the stop nearest the corner you intend to use rather than to a broad neighborhood pin.
