Parx Liberty Carousel

The carousel sits inside the compact park loop near the fountain. Follow attraction signs rather than a street address once inside the square.

Use transit or a paid garage; the ride has no separate parking or drop-off lane.

Carousel hours follow the published seasonal park-attraction calendar and are weather dependent. Lantern-festival dates split free daytime access from ticketed evening access.

Use the park's expanded restrooms during operating hours; there is no restroom on the ride platform.

Current tickets are $4 for riders age three and older; children two and under ride free. Verify prices before visiting.

Ask staff about the current boarding and transfer procedure. The path approach is developed, but the moving ride and animal seats require individual assessment.

Except for service animals, pets are not permitted on the carousel.

Children under 42 inches must ride with a responsible adult. Keep children behind ride barriers until staff invite boarding.

A park entrance or festival ticket does not automatically include a carousel ride. Confirm attraction hours, weather status and the correct ticket.

Franklin Square PATCO Station reopened in 2025 beside the park, providing direct service from New Jersey and Center City. SEPTA's 5th Street, 8th Street and Jefferson Station are also walkable; check live elevator and service status.
