Franklin Square Fountain and SquareBurger

Enter at 6th and Race and follow the main paths to the central fountain. SquareBurger is nearby, but food pickup and fountain viewing use different queues during events.

There is no dedicated free park lot. Use PATCO, nearby SEPTA or a paid garage; festival nights create the greatest parking pressure.

Fountain shows are currently listed April 18-October 31, while SquareBurger is listed from noon to park closing during the published summer season. Both are weather dependent and the park is cleared at 5 p.m. on lantern-festival dates.

The expanded 2025 restrooms include accessible stalls and a separate gender-neutral family restroom. Access follows current park operations.

Fountain viewing is free during ordinary daytime access. Food and the ticketed evening lantern festival cost separately.

Main paths reach the fountain and new accessible restrooms, but queues, movable seating, wet paving and festival installations can narrow circulation.

Leashed pets may use green spaces but should remain away from food service and fountain water; service-animal rules apply inside restricted attractions.

The fountain, nearby playground, food and restrooms make this the easiest family meeting zone. Supervise around water and crowded paths.

The fountain is not a splash pad. Check the live show calendar, weather and event access, and do not assume SquareBurger operates whenever the grounds are open.

Franklin Square PATCO Station reopened in 2025 beside the park, providing direct service from New Jersey and Center City. SEPTA's 5th Street, 8th Street and Jefferson Station are also walkable; check live elevator and service status.
