Pierce's Park

Find the park behind the Rita Rossi Colwell Center beside Coast Guard Cutter WHEC-37. From the National Aquarium, cross the wooden bridge from the Pier 4 exit toward Pier 5 rather than walking back to the Visitor Center.

There is no dedicated visitor lot. Choose a paid Inner Harbor or Harbor East garage near Pier 5, check event pricing and walk; one garage is not convenient for the entire waterfront route.

The outdoor park follows ordinary public waterfront access, but events, maintenance, storms and work around the adjacent building or pier can change access. It is not a staffed attraction with guaranteed daily hours.

There is no dependable restroom inside the small park. Use an open Aquarium, Visitor Center, attraction or business facility before arriving rather than counting on Pier 5.

Ordinary park access is free. Parking, Aquarium admission, Water Taxi trips, food and nearby attractions cost separately.

The park is reached by developed waterfront walks, but route surfaces, bridge transitions, interactive elements and temporary event barriers vary. Approach from the Aquarium/Pier 4 side for the most direct promenade connection.

Keep dogs leashed and out of planted rain-garden areas. Crowds, children, sculptures and narrow waterfront connections make close control important.

This is a strong free decompression stop after the Aquarium: children can explore the musical fence, willow tunnel and sculptures without committing to another ticketed attraction. Supervise at every nearby water edge.

Pierce's Park is hidden behind the Colwell Center and is easy to miss from Pratt Street. Use the exact Pier 5 pin and do not confuse it with West Shore Park near the Visitor Center.

Charm City Circulator, MTA bus and rail, bikeshare and the Water Taxi serve different waterfront sections. A one-way promenade walk can be paired with transit for the return.
