Diamond Head State Monument
HonoluluOpen daily from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; last entrance to hike is 4:00 p.m. Entry is controlled by reservation windows and the monument can close for weather or safety work.
Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve
HonoluluTemporarily closed August 3-18, 2026 for a sewer project. Normally open Wednesday-Sunday with entry from 6:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.; beach clearance begins at 3:30 p.m. and everyone must leave by 4:00 p.m. Closed Monday and Tuesday.
Kapiolani Regional Park
HonoluluThe outdoor park follows posted City closure hours; the zoo, Waikiki Shell, tennis center and permitted events keep separate schedules. Confirm the gate or facility you plan to use.
Koko Crater Railway Trail
HonoluluUse the trail only during daylight and obey posted Koko Head District Park closure hours. Heat, maintenance, wildfire risk and severe weather can close access independently.
Pearl Harbor National Memorial
HonoluluVisitor center and museums are open daily 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. except Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day. Parking lots operate 6:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; Navy boat access can stop for wind, mechanical or security conditions.
