Asian Collections

Use the official Arboretum map and a nearby collection parking area; this is a large hillside landscape, not one bed.

Free designated parking is distributed near major collections. Do not park on roads or lawns; weekends, azalea bloom, and events increase demand near the Columns and bonsai museum.

Free during Arboretum hours. Expect hills, natural paths, roots, seasonal crowds, ticks, and variable bloom timing.

There are no dependable restrooms within the collection. Use developed visitor facilities first.

Admission and general parking are free. Programs, events, tours, and partner services may use reservations or separate fees.

Major buildings and collections have developed approaches, but the 451-acre landscape includes slopes, long distances, garden paths, and natural surfaces. Drive between distant collections when needed.

Leashed pets are permitted only under current Arboretum rules and may be restricted from buildings, collections, and events. Review posted pet guidance and protect research plantings.

The Columns, bonsai museum, lawns, and seasonal gardens work well for families. The grounds are too large to cover casually on foot, so choose two or three collections.
