Burke Lake Marina

Enter Burke Lake Park at 7315 Ox Road and follow internal marina signs to the dedicated lot. The state launch at the dam is a different access point.

Large activity-specific lots are distributed inside the entrance. The marina and railroad have separate parking areas, while the dam and 24-hour state boat launch use a separate approach outside the main family recreation core.

The 2026 marina is generally open weekends May 2-June 17, daily June 18-August 23, and weekends August 24-November 1, with seasonal opening and last-rental times. Check the official operational-hours page for the exact date.

Mapped permanent and seasonal restrooms serve the developed marina and nearby picnic areas; confirm seasonal facility availability before an early or late visit.

The current county launch fee is $8. Posted 2026 rowboat rates begin at $15 weekday or $16 weekend for a half day; canoe and motor packages cost more.

Pets are not permitted on rental boats or the tour boat. Leashed dogs may use permitted surrounding park and trail areas.

Boat rentals, fishing, nearby picnics, and the lakeside trail can work well for families, but rental-age, capacity, waiver, and life-jacket rules apply to every trip.

The 2026 marina schedule changes several times between May and November. Rentals require photo ID and age compliance, life jackets are mandatory, swimming is prohibited, and weather can stop operations.

This is primarily a vehicle-oriented destination with no dependable direct rail connection to the park entrance. Arrange the return before arrival if using rideshare, and navigate to the exact internal facility.
