Battelle Darby Creek Nature Center

Use the operator's separate Nature Center entrance at 1415 Darby Creek Drive and exact arrival coordinate 39.91618,-83.21127. Do not route to the Cedar Ridge main-park address for the shortest building arrival.

A dedicated Nature Center approach and lot are separate from Cedar Ridge and Indian Ridge. Follow the official Nature Center area map and posted signs rather than the general park pin.

The Nature Center is open from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. April through September and 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. October through March, shorter than the surrounding park's seasonal hours.

Use Nature Center restrooms during building hours. The operator does not promise indoor access after the center closes even though the surrounding park remains open later.

The operator lists no admission charge for ordinary Nature Center exhibits, and Metro Parks says programs are free unless a listing says registration is required. Reservations use separate terms and fees.

Use the dedicated building arrival and consult the current Metro Parks accessible-facilities guide for route details. Do not extend a building-access claim to every nearby prairie, creek or Riffle Run surface.

Regular pets are limited to designated pet trails and developed outdoor areas; only service animals are welcomed throughout Metro Parks buildings and trails.

The interactive exhibits and 53-foot living stream are designed for nature learning. The building is a useful family stop, but adults should supervise children around live-animal displays and the outdoor pasture edge.

The rear balcony overlooks the winter bison enclosure, but the herd moves seasonally and may be distant or out of view. Never cross fencing or treat the Nature Center schedule as a wildlife guarantee.
