Wendy Park Volleyball Courts

Navigate to the exact courts pin inside the main Wendy Park area. They are west of Wendy Park Bridge and near the main Whiskey Island arrival, not at Edgewater Beach's volleyball area.

Use the Wendy Park lot from Whiskey Island Drive. League nights and events can fill the closest spaces, so arrive before scheduled play and keep boat, marina and emergency access clear.

League play is Sunday through Thursday from 5:00-11:00 p.m. When no event is scheduled, courts are first come, first served during park hours; posted reservations and closures take priority.

The official Wendy Park amenity list does not identify a public restroom. Do not assume league or event support facilities will be open for casual play; use a confirmed facility before arrival.

Casual first-come court use is free when no event is scheduled. Organized leagues, tournaments and programs can require registration or fees.

Paved park routes reach the court area, but the playing surface is deep sand. Spectators may have a firmer approach than players; confirm event setup when an exact accessible viewing location is needed.

Keep leashed dogs out of active courts and away from league or event operations. Use ordinary park areas instead and maintain control around crowds and balls.

The courts can work for older children and family play when open, but there is no guarantee of an available court and this is not a playground. Bring water, sun protection and footwear for hot sand.

Do not assume an empty-looking court is available later in the evening. Check the Wendy Park event schedule, expect league use Sunday through Thursday after 5:00 p.m. and choose Edgewater or another park when playground equipment is the priority.
