Marble Fountain

Use the destination's geotagged point near East Lombard Street and South Patterson Park Avenue. It is west of Boat Lake and far from the Linwood Avenue pool and rink.

Use legal perimeter street parking near Lombard Street or Patterson Park Avenue and walk in. Read neighborhood restrictions and do not drive onto park paths.

The outdoor fountain area follows dawn-to-dusk park hours. Water operation can be seasonal or interrupted by weather and maintenance, so the landmark may be visible without flowing.

There is no documented dependable restroom at the fountain. Verify an open staffed park facility before relying on restroom access.

Viewing the fountain is free. Permitted events held around it may control the immediate space.

The fountain is reached by paved park paths, while curb cuts, grades, temporary event barriers, and fountain-edge conditions can vary by approach.

Leashed dogs may use surrounding paths under the six-foot leash rule. Keep them out of the basin and remove waste.

The fountain makes a short visual stop, but the basin is not a splash pad. Children should remain outside the railing and with an adult.

Do not make water flow the sole reason for the trip. Seasonal shutdown, maintenance, or an event can leave the fountain off or the immediate plaza occupied.

MTA bus service runs along multiple park edges, including Baltimore Street and Eastern Avenue. Select the stop nearest your destination rather than the center of the park.
