Choose the entrance closest to your named trail, picnic site, ranger station, dog area, or Woodminster destination. The 500-acre park has multiple trailheads and roads, so the general park pin is not precise enough for every visit.
Use Lakeside Park and Bellevue Avenue for the gardens, boating center, Sailboat House, bandstand, nature center, and nearby family attractions. For a shoreline walk, choose the closest legal access point to the side of the lake you want to explore.
Redwood Gate on Redwood Road serves Canyon Meadow and developed picnic areas. Skyline Gate, Big Bear, MacDonald, and other staging areas serve different ridge and trail routes. Choose a named trailhead before navigating.
