Beverly Canyon provides east-side access to desert washes and connecting trails without using the main scenic road entrance.

Choose the main Central Avenue entrance, Pima Canyon, Mormon, Beverly Canyon, 19th Avenue, or another official trailhead. Lots and gates close before trails, so a late return can leave a vehicle locked in.

Beverly Canyon Trailhead keeps its own gate, staffing, seasonal, maintenance, program, heat-restriction, or weather schedule. Check the cited official source and current Phoenix trail or facility alerts before leaving.

Restrooms and water are concentrated at the visitor center and major trailheads; remote routes and ridgelines have none. Never assume a fountain is operational.

Dobbins can be reached by road when open, and developed facilities offer accessible options; most mountain trails are rocky, steep, exposed, and unsuitable for mobility devices.
