Free parking is available adjacent to the park and along Eastside Street and Wakeforest Avenue. Paid overflow is available in the Kirby Grove garage at Richmond and Wakeforest.

General outdoor areas follow posted park hours; the Children's Park operates 8:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m. and closes the first Tuesday monthly from 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. for maintenance.

Family restrooms and changing facilities support the Children's Park; confirm posted access when the gated children's area is closed for maintenance or events.

Park entry, playground, water feature, dog park, reading room, lawns, games, and most daily activities are free. Garage parking, concessions, rentals, and selected events cost separately.

Paved paths, gradual ramps, the Treehouse Overlook boardwalk, family restrooms, and compact layout support accessible visits; some play elements require transfer or climbing.

Dogs are allowed in the designated large- and small-dog areas under posted rules; pets are not allowed inside the Children's Park or its water feature.
