The dog park has separate large- and small-dog areas, turf mounds, shade, water, and double-gated entry.

Free parking is available adjacent to the park and along Eastside Street and Wakeforest Avenue. Paid overflow is available in the Kirby Grove garage at Richmond and Wakeforest.
