The Greenline is open daily from sunrise to sunset, 365 days a year; emergency, storm, construction, or maintenance closures override normal access.

ADA-compliant restrooms are available at Woodland Discovery Playground, the First Horizon Foundation Visitor Center, and the FedEx Event Center. The two buildings can follow their own operating or event hours, so use the playground location or confirm building access before relying on an indoor facility.

Greenline access is free; bike rentals and other park activities are separately priced.

The park has more than 40 miles of paved and unpaved routes. The 10.65-mile paved Greenline is the main regional walking and cycling route, while natural trails provide hiking and mountain-bike experiences with roots, mud, and changing terrain.

The Outback is a 120-acre off-leash area with meadows, woods, trails, and lakes. Dogs must be leashed elsewhere. As of July 2026, an algae bloom warning says dogs should not swim in or drink from Outback lakes until further notice. Separately operated buildings, beaches, gardens, and attractions can set stricter rules.
