Soldiers and Sailors Monument

Go to the southeast quadrant at East Roadway and South Roadway. The entrance to the small museum is at the monument base; do not use the broad center-of-square pin if the interior is your goal.

Use a paid downtown garage or legal meter and walk into the southeast quadrant. Event and game days can change rates and availability; Tower City rail and downtown buses are often simpler than searching for curb parking.

The outdoor monument sits within Public Square, which is open 5:00 a.m.-midnight. The interior museum posts daily 10:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m. hours and can close separately for maintenance, programs or holidays.

Public Square lists a public restroom and changing station outside the REBoL building, not at the monument entrance. Confirm availability before depending on it for a museum visit.

The monument and interior museum are free to the public. Nearby food, parking and special events cost separately.

Paved routes reach the monument exterior from the square. Confirm the current interior entrance and accommodation details before a mobility-specific museum visit rather than assuming every historic interior route is step-free.

Leashed dogs may pass through ordinary outdoor park areas under posted rules, but only service animals should be expected inside the museum.

The compact free museum can add a focused history stop to a Public Square visit. The surrounding streets and transit lanes require close supervision, and the monument is not a play area.

The tall exterior is visible whenever the park is open, but the museum below it has much shorter daily hours. Arrive before 5:30 p.m. for the interior and combine the stop with the splash pad only after checking its seasonal status.
