Public Square Splash Pad

Navigate to Public Square and enter the northwest quadrant near the Gund Foundation Green. The jets are within the park, not a pool or an indoor facility.

Use paid downtown garages or meters and walk into the square. Transit through Tower City or the adjacent bus network avoids event-day parking searches and places visitors within a short paved walk.

The published operating season is daily 6:00 a.m.-midnight from April through October. Same-day maintenance, weather, event setup or a posted seasonal-closure message overrides the normal schedule.

A public restroom and changing station are outside the REBoL building in Public Square. Availability can change, so verify before arriving with children who need a guaranteed changing stop.

Splash-pad use and park entry are free. Parking, food, skating and ticketed events cost separately.

The fountain is reached by paved park routes and uses a ground-level water-play surface. Wet pavement can be slippery, and crowds or event barriers may change the clearest approach.

Keep pets out of the active splash-pad surface and water jets. Leashed dogs may use ordinary surrounding paths under posted park rules.

This is a strong free warm-weather stop with nearby lawn and a changing station. Bring dry clothes and water shoes, supervise continuously and remember that there is no pool barrier separating children from the surrounding downtown park.

Do not rely on the April-through-October calendar alone. Check the Public Square page the day of the visit because maintenance, weather and event production can turn the fountain off while the rest of the park remains open.

Tower City rail, HealthLine, buses and downtown walking converge at or beside the square.
