Washington Park

The park is open 6:00 a.m.-11:00 p.m. Visitors 17 and younger need a parent or guardian after 9:00 p.m. The Porch, interactive water park and events keep separate hours.

The underground Washington Park Garage has entrances on Race Street at 13th Street and on Elm Street across from Music Hall. It operates 24/7; event pricing, availability and valet-assist capacity vary.

The compact park is easiest from the streetcar stop or underground garage. Use Music Hall, playground, dog park, bandstand or Porch as the meeting point.

Public restroom buildings are located near the Elm Street and Race Street sides of the park. Confirm current access around events, maintenance and seasonal operations.

Park, playground, dog park, water play and many events are free. Garage parking and Porch purchases cost separately.

Elevators connect the garage to broad paved paths and central lawns; crowds and permitted events can narrow routes.

The 12,000-square-foot fenced dog park has water, rocks and a play creek. Dogs should remain leashed outside the enclosure.

The playground and seasonal interactive water park make an easy family stop, especially with Music Hall as a landmark.

The Cincinnati streetcar stops at Washington Park, and Metro routes serve nearby Central Parkway and downtown.

The interactive water park operates daily 10:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m. from early May through October. FC Cincinnati, Music Hall and park events can crowd streets and the garage.
