Clark County Wetlands Park

Trails, trailhead parking and trailhead restrooms are open daily dawn to dusk. The Nature Center is open Tuesday-Sunday from 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.

Use the main Nature Center lot for the preserve, exhibits and neighborhood park. Duck Creek, Pabco, Wells and other trailheads serve different parts of the 2,900 acres and are not interchangeable.

Choose the Nature Center and Preserve for a first visit. Use a named trailhead only when your route starts there; navigating to the general park pin can leave you miles from the intended trail.

Restrooms and water are available at the Nature Center and selected trailheads. Sunrise facilities and parking are currently closed due to damage, and construction may affect Duck Creek later.

Park trails, Nature Preserve and Nature Center admission are free. Programs requiring registration may have separate limits or fees.

The Nature Preserve has about three miles of paved ADA-accessible trails, while portions of the broader Wetlands Loop are unpaved or interrupted. Use the current map rather than assuming a complete paved circuit.

Dogs and bicycles are prohibited inside the Nature Preserve to protect wildlife. Leashed dogs are allowed at trailheads, Duck Creek Trails and the Wetlands Loop Trail.

The Nature Center, pond overlooks, wildlife signs and Neighborhood Park work well for children. Open water, heat, coyotes and other wildlife require close supervision.

Transit reaches parts of the east valley, but the park's multiple trailheads and sparse internal connections make a car or prearranged ride more practical.

The Wetlands Loop does not currently complete a full circuit. Nature Preserve Way has construction impacts, Sunrise parking and restroom are closed, and future Duck Creek access interruptions are expected; check the current notices before choosing a trailhead.

Check current Southern Nevada weather and operator alerts. Extreme heat, UV, flash flooding, lightning, high wind, wildfire smoke and fire restrictions can close trails, roads, water access or outdoor facilities independently.
