The park is open daily 6:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m. William Davidson Sport House closes at 8:00 p.m., Delta Dental Play Garden closes at 9:00 p.m., and seasonal Water Wonderland is listed 11:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. when operating.

About 150 free on-street spaces line West Jefferson and Rosa Parks. Paid parking and restrooms are available at Bagley Mobility Hub, 1501 Wabash Street, via Southwest Greenway; Assembly Garage is another paid option. Follow signs and expect event changes.

The park spans West Jefferson between Eighth Street and Rosa Parks Boulevard. Walkers can arrive from downtown along the RiverWalk; Southwest Greenway connects from Bagley Mobility Hub, and each internal destination requires additional walking.

The park lists public restrooms, with additional facilities at Bagley Mobility Hub. Confirm same-day availability during events, maintenance or winter weather.

Park entry, play garden, water garden, Sport House courts, lawns and ordinary Conservancy programming are free. Parking, food and selected programs may cost separately; private rentals are not offered.

New paved routes connect major features, with inclusive play and seating distributed through the site. The Water Garden includes winding paths, a dock and bridge; visitors should use the exact route and avoid assuming every landscape surface is equivalent.

Dogs and cats are allowed when leashed and under control. Keep pets out of active play, water-play and sport surfaces and away from the Water Garden shoreline.

Delta Dental Play Garden, seasonal Water Wonderland and the open-air Sport House make this a strong free family destination, but each feature closes earlier than the surrounding park or operates seasonally.

DDOT routes 1, 27 and 29 serve the area. Southwest Greenway connects from Bagley Mobility Hub, and the Water Square People Mover station is about a half-mile east along the RiverWalk.

This park opened in October 2025, so feature schedules and programming remain fast-changing. Verify Water Wonderland operation, Sport House hours, weather, parking and the event calendar before a feature-specific trip; fishing is prohibited in the Water Garden.
