Cabin John Ice Rink

Use 10610 Westlake Drive and the ice-rink entrance. This is a separate activity zone from the train and Tuckerman Lane picnic and playground areas.

Free parking is distributed among separate facility lots. The Westlake Drive lot near the dog park and Power Line Trail North trailhead is under phased renovation through summer 2026, with part of the lot remaining open and traffic patterns subject to change.

Public skating follows the posted session calendar rather than general park hours. Check the exact date and session because hockey, lessons, maintenance, closures, and special events change availability.

Building restrooms are available during scheduled rink operations; confirm facility status when checking the public-session calendar.

Current public-session admission is $9 for ages five and up and $5 for ages three to four. Skate rental is $4 per session; specialty sessions may bundle rental or use different fees.

The rink has a developed building approach and Montgomery Parks offers disability modifications through Program Access; contact the rink for a specific on-ice or spectator accommodation.

Leashed pets belong in permitted outdoor park areas, not public skating sessions. Service animals follow applicable building-access rules.

Public sessions can work well for families, but admission and rental are per session, schedules change, and young or new skaters need close supervision and appropriate cold-weather clothing.
