Franklin Park Zoo

Franklin Park Zoo is a separately operated, ticketed attraction on the northeast side of the park. Use the zoo entrance and current Zoo New England hours, admission, parking, accessibility, and animal-care notices rather than general park rules.

Parking is distributed around the 485-acre park. Navigate to the zoo, Playstead, Tiffany Moore Tot Lot, golf clubhouse, Scarboro Pond, or another exact destination before driving.

The zoo uses separate daily and seasonal admission hours; check the official day-of-visit schedule and last-entry time.

Facilities are concentrated near staffed attractions, fields, playgrounds, and the golf or zoo areas. Remote woodland routes do not have dependable restroom coverage.

General Franklin Park access is free, but Franklin Park Zoo is a ticketed attraction with separate admission and parking rules.

Improved entrances and paved routes connect many developed destinations, but wooded trails, steep grades, roots, pond edges, construction, and long distances vary substantially.

Pets are not allowed inside the zoo; qualifying service animals follow Zoo New England policy.

Use Tiffany Moore Tot Lot for documented accessible play and spray play, or choose the zoo separately. The Wilderness and pond are better for older children prepared for a longer walk.
