Remembrance Circle

Remembrance Circle is a place of remembrance within Pearl Harbor National Memorial; use a quiet voice, follow security direction and allow time for reflection.

Visitor parking costs $7 per day through the posted mobile payment system and fills year-round. Use 1 Arizona Memorial Place so navigation does not send you to the active military base.

Visitor center and museums are open daily 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. except Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day. Parking lots operate 6:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; Navy boat access can stop for wind, mechanical or security conditions. Remembrance Circle may keep shorter, reserved, staffed, event-dependent, ocean-dependent or daylight-only hours; verify the current feature status before relying on parent hours.

Accessible public restrooms and drinking-water support are available in the visitor-center complex. Only water is allowed inside museums, theaters, Navy vessels and USS Arizona Memorial.

Visitor-center grounds and NPS museums are free. USS Arizona reservations carry a $1 Recreation.gov processing fee; parking, bag storage and partner-operated historic sites cost separately.

The visitor center, museums, theaters, shuttle dock and USS Arizona program are broadly accessible, though Navy operations can change boarding. The park does not routinely rent wheelchairs.

Pets are not permitted in visitor buildings or memorial programs. Qualified service animals are allowed under federal access rules and must pass applicable security procedures.

The museums and memorial are meaningful for school-age visitors, but the subject matter is solemn. Prepare children for security, quiet behavior, waiting and the possibility that weather cancels the boat portion.

NPS pages currently differ between a 1.25-inch and 1.5-inch thickness limit for concealed bags; use the stricter 1.25 by 2.25 by 5.5-inch limit, bring a clear bag or no bag, and use paid storage near the entrance if needed. Reserve USS Arizona access in advance; standby is limited, and a canceled Navy boat cannot be guaranteed a same-day replacement.

TheBus and commercial tours serve the visitor center. Allow substantially more time than a map estimate from Waikiki because traffic, stops, security and timed check-in all matter.
