Use the small signed public parking area and do not block neighborhood, emergency, or service access.

Usually open 9 a.m.-3 p.m., depending on volunteer staffing; the outdoor trail and picnic area are open dawn to dusk.

A public restroom is normally available during the center's volunteer-dependent 9 a.m.-3 p.m. hours; do not assume it is open at dawn or dusk.

Free; donations may support lagoon education and stewardship.

The center and deck use developed approaches, while the adjoining lagoon trail varies in surface and width.

Leashed dogs are allowed on the trail; confirm whether pets may enter the small exhibit space and keep them away from wildlife.

Because staffing is volunteer-dependent, treat the center as a helpful bonus rather than the only reason for a tightly scheduled visit. Stay on designated routes, supervise children at the deck and water edge, and protect sensitive birds and habitat.
