Elliott Bay beach and pocket cove

The Elliott Bay pocket beach adds shoreline habitat below the art park; it is not a guarded swimming beach.

There is no free park lot. Use transit, walking, cycling, rideshare, paid street parking, or nearby garages.

May through September hours are 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.; October through April hours are 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Pavilion and programs use separate schedules.

Restroom availability is tied primarily to the PACCAR Pavilion and nearby facilities rather than every outdoor level; check Pavilion hours.

Outdoor park and sculpture access are free. Parking, food, tours, programs, and museum visits may cost.

The main Z-shaped path provides a gradual developed route across grade changes, while beach and shoreline surfaces vary.

Leashed dogs may pass through outdoor routes where posted; keep pets away from artworks, beach habitat, lawns during programs, and indoor Pavilion spaces.

Large sculptures, lawns, trains, shoreline views, and the continuous path interest families, but artworks are not climbing equipment and the water edge requires supervision.
