Antelope Island State Park

Open daily 6:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m. Visitor information operates 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.; Fielding Garr Ranch facilities operate daily 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

Drive across the Davis County causeway and use the lot at the specific beach, trailhead, marina or ranch. Distances are substantial and there is no internal public shuttle.

Use the official Syracuse entrance and causeway. Rideshare operators do not pick up in the park, so arriving without a vehicle can leave visitors stranded.

Flush toilets and showers are at Bridger Bay Beach; the marina visitor-information area and developed sites have additional facilities. Remote trails and primitive camps rely on pit toilets or none.

A state-park day-use fee is charged by vehicle, motorcycle, bicycle or walk-in admission. Confirm the current amount on the official fee page or entrance station before arrival.

The marina information area, developed beach facilities and ranch provide the firmest access. Natural trails, salt shorelines and primitive camps are rough and exposed.

Leashed dogs are allowed in many outdoor and camping areas, but wildlife safety and beach/building restrictions apply. Never let a dog approach bison or other wildlife.

Bridger Bay, visitor interpretation and Fielding Garr Ranch can form a strong family day. Carry water, insect protection and sun protection, and keep children far from bison.

No public transit serves the island and rideshares do not retrieve passengers. Bring a vehicle, fuel, water and a reliable return plan.

The main Visitor Center is closed for renovation; temporary visitor information and gifts are at the marina. Stage 2 fire restrictions are active, and Egg Island and White Rock are closed year-round for nesting birds.

Check current Wasatch Front weather, air quality, road status and operator alerts. Heat, cold, snow, avalanche control, lightning, flash flooding, high wind, wildfire smoke and fire restrictions can independently close roads, trails or facilities.
