Seven Canyons Refuge

Seven Canyons Refuge is a distinct mapped destination within Liberty Park; navigate to this point instead of the general park pin and check posted conditions on arrival.

Enter the one-way counter-clockwise Constitution Drive loop from 900 South or 1300 South and park near the intended feature. Tracy Aviary has a separate west-side lot; the playgrounds, pool and courts are spread around the park.

Open daily from 5:00 a.m.-11:00 p.m. Tracy Aviary, pool, tennis center, museum, concessions, rides and programs use separate schedules. Seven Canyons Refuge may keep shorter, seasonal, staffed, reserved, road-controlled, weather-dependent or daylight-only hours; verify its current status before relying on parent hours.

Four restroom locations serve the park. The City currently lists restrooms open, but individual buildings can close for cleaning, winterization or construction.

General park, path, playground, lawn and court access is free. Tracy Aviary, pool, tennis, rides, concessions, reservations and programs may charge separately.

Paved loops, accessible parking and developed facilities provide broad access. Feature-level routes vary; Rotary Play Park is being rebuilt as an inclusive regional playground.

Leashed dogs are welcome in the park. There is no listed fenced off-leash area, and dogs should stay out of playground, pool and building areas unless posted otherwise.

Rice Pavilion Playground remains the dependable equipment-play option. Rotary Play Park remains under construction with a grand opening announced for September 2026; the pond, aviary, courts and broad lawns remain available.

UTA Route 9 serves the north side along 900 South and Route 205 serves the west side along 500 East. Choose the side nearest the feature and check live arrivals.
