Event and campus parking is directed to 2334 Gulf Terminal Drive. On ordinary visits, follow posted Orange Show campus parking and avoid blocking neighborhood access.

Open daily from dawn until dusk. Saturday artist activity and scheduled programs are weather dependent; the adjacent Orange Show Monument has separate hours and may be closed for restoration.

Do not assume a public restroom is available during every dawn-to-dusk park visit; nearby Orange Show facilities follow their own operating and event schedules.

Smither Park admission is always free. Donations, special classes, merchandise, and some Orange Show programs may cost separately.

The compact park uses mosaic-covered plaza and walkway surfaces; most landmarks are close together, but decorative textures, heat, and event crowds can affect movement.

Leashed dogs may visit outdoor areas under posted rules; keep them off mosaic art, planted areas, swings, and programmed gathering spaces.

The colors, found-object details, swings, tower, walls, and chance to watch artists work make this unusually engaging for children, with close supervision around fragile art.

Do not climb mosaics, remove objects, or treat the artwork as play equipment; Saturdays are the best chance to see artists working, weather permitting.

Local METRO bus routes serve the East End and Third Ward edges; most visitors drive, rideshare, cycle, or combine the stop with nearby Orange Show destinations.
