Open during posted City of Dallas park hours; lighting, water features, maintenance, and nearby convention activity can vary.

Use paid convention-center or downtown parking and follow posted restrictions. The plaza is a short walk from several central destinations and is easier to approach on foot than to search for curb parking.

Use the Young Street and Griffin Street corner. The sculptures extend through the landscape, so walk the full route rather than stopping at the first steers.

There are no dependable dedicated plaza restrooms; use public facilities available at nearby convention or downtown destinations during their hours.

The outdoor plaza and cattle-drive sculpture are free to visit.

Paved approaches provide views from multiple sides, but the most immersive sculpture route includes slopes, rock, water edges, and uneven landscape surfaces.

Leashed dogs may use ordinary public areas where posted rules allow; keep pets off sculptures, out of water features, and under control around crowds.

The life-size longhorns, cowboys, stream, cliffs, and small details are highly engaging for children, but sculptures and wet rock are not climbing equipment.

Convention Center Station, downtown buses, rideshare, and walking connections serve the area; check current convention construction and street closures.

This is a visual landmark rather than a full-service recreation park. Visit in daylight for details, supervise children around rock and water, and plan restrooms and shade elsewhere.

Check Dallas's hourly heat index, lightning, severe-storm and heavy-rain alerts, flash-flood risk, air quality, and current facility notices. Pavement, play equipment, rock, and exposed trails become dangerously hot, while low trails and creeks may flood quickly.
