Public areas follow posted park hours; Kingsbury Commons facilities, splash pad, reservations, and programs can use shorter or seasonal schedules.

Parking is extremely limited. Walk, bike, use transit, or follow Pease Park's current parking guidance; do not assume a space will be available beside Kingsbury Commons.

Use 1100 Kingsbury Street for Kingsbury Commons. Trail users can enter from multiple Shoal Creek connections, but feature access and parking differ along the long park.

Improved public restrooms are located at Kingsbury Commons. Northern trail sections have fewer facilities.

General park entry, play areas, and the city splash pad are free. Reservations and ticketed programs may cost extra.

Kingsbury Commons includes accessible routes and inclusive play elements. Shoal Creek trails, slopes, wet surfaces, and natural areas vary.

Leashed dogs may use ordinary park and trail areas. Keep pets out of designated play and splash-pad zones and under close control near children and creek habitat.

Kingsbury Commons concentrates the playground, Treehouse, nature play, splash pad, restrooms, picnic space, and open lawn into the easiest family visit.

Check Austin's facility-closures page before a splash or nature-play visit. As of the latest city notice, portions of the western trail, splash pad, and nature play area are affected by a plumbing break and runoff until further notice.

Check Austin's hourly heat index, lightning and heavy-rain alerts, flash-flood risk, air quality, and current facility notices. Limestone, pavement, play equipment, and exposed trails become dangerously hot, while creeks can rise quickly after upstream rain.
