Wasioto Park

Open daily from dawn to 11:00 p.m. Spray-ground operation is seasonal and maintenance dependent; events, elevator access, and reservable spaces can differ.

Use designated riverfront or event parking and expect limited availability during stadium events. The park is also reached on foot from downtown across the Shelby Street Pedestrian Bridge.

Route to 592 South First Street for the park, or walk from downtown over the pedestrian bridge. The bridge elevator and stair arrive above the play and event areas.

Restroom availability is limited and can depend on events or nearby open facilities. Locate an option before settling into the play area with children.

Park, playground, trails, skyline views, and spray ground when operating are free. Parking, food, reservations, stadium events, and special programs cost separately.

Paved routes serve the amphitheater, lawn, and many play areas; bridge elevator outages, steep bridge approaches, water-play surfaces, and crowds can affect access.

Leash dogs and keep them out of splash jets, play equipment, food areas, private events, and posted river-edge spaces.

The Hollow, Scoops, Gorge, Explorer Trail, slides, climbing nets, sand, and seasonal water features make this a flagship downtown family park.

Walk from downtown across the Shelby Street Pedestrian Bridge or use nearby downtown transit and rideshare. Stadium traffic can alter drop-off access.

The park was renamed from Cumberland Park in 2024. The spray ground has required extensive repairs and the bridge elevator may close for renovation; verify both before promising water play or step-free bridge access.
