Willamette Greenway Trail

The paved Willamette Greenway Trail runs through the park and is shared by walkers, runners, mobility devices, and bicycles; stay predictable in busy sections.

Use downtown garages, metered streets, transit, biking, walking, or rideshare. Major festivals and races close streets and remove ordinary curb access; do not expect park-side parking.

The park is open 5:00 a.m.-midnight. Interactive fountains, docks, restrooms, markets, festivals, construction zones, and temporary event enclosures use separate hours.

An accessible restroom is listed, and temporary facilities appear during major events. Availability is not continuous along the entire waterfront, so identify the nearest open facility before walking far.

Ordinary park access, paths, lawns, memorials, and fountains are free. Parking, food, market purchases, cruises, rentals, and ticketed or fenced events cost separately.

The riverfront has long paved, generally level routes, accessible transit, and an accessible restroom, though bridge approaches, crowds, event fencing, and construction can change circulation.

Dogs must remain leashed throughout the park. Keep pets away from interactive fountain jets, food areas, crowded events, docks, and posted restricted spaces.

Fountains, river views, boats, bridges, markets, lawns, and festivals can make an easy downtown family outing. Supervise closely beside water, bikes, traffic crossings, and crowded events.

MAX, buses, Portland Streetcar, Biketown, walking routes, and bridge paths serve different sections. Transit is usually more reliable than driving during waterfront events.
