Use designated roads and parking areas around the Tulsa Garden Center and garden campus. Motor vehicles are prohibited on lawns, garden paths, and other non-road areas; private events can reserve or redirect the closest spaces.

Short garden walks connect the rose garden, arboretum, mansion, Teaching Garden, greenhouse, fountains, and lawns. Expect a mix of paved paths, steps, slopes, and garden surfaces rather than a long-distance recreation trail.

The principal destinations are the historic Tulsa Garden Center mansion, Tulsa Municipal Rose Garden, Arboretum, Linnaeus Teaching Garden, Conservatory Greenhouse, fountains, pocket gardens, and historic barn. Bloom and greenhouse conditions vary by season.

Leashed pets are allowed in general City park areas, but the Teaching Garden prohibits pets other than service animals. Keep animals out of planted beds and confirm building-specific policies before entering indoor facilities.

The developed garden campus includes road-accessible entrances and paths, but this historic landscape has varied slopes, surfaces, and building access. Contact Tulsa Garden Center before a mobility-specific visit or event to confirm the best entrance and currently accessible route.

Gardens, lawns, rose beds, and paths can still be exposed. Use an open substantial building or enclosed vehicle rather than trees, glasshouses, or the open shelter during lightning, hail, or severe wind.

Woodward Park's official visitor information does not list conventional playground equipment. This destination is centered on the rose garden, arboretum, conservatory, historic mansion, lawns, trees, and quiet garden walks rather than swings or slides. Choose another Tulsa park for equipment play. Families can still make a short nature-focused visit, but children should stay on paths and avoid climbing garden structures, entering planted beds, or disturbing conservatory displays; building access and programs use separate hours.

No public pool or splash pad is listed at Woodward Park. Its stream, pond, and other garden water features are ornamental and are not places to wade, swim, or play. Tulsa operates pools and water playgrounds at separately named parks, and Woodward is not among the City's current aquatic locations; check the current aquatics list before choosing an alternative.
