Hungarian Cultural Garden

Use 1070 East Boulevard for the upper garden, fountain and overlook. The newer lower memorial garden sits downhill along Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, so confirm which level matches the feature or event you want to see.

Use legal curb parking near East Boulevard for the upper garden or near Martin Luther King Jr. Drive for the lower level. Do not plan on moving between levels as a short flat walk.

The outdoor garden follows the Cultural Gardens' daily 6:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m. schedule. Concerts, maintenance and winter conditions can affect individual paths or fountains.

No everyday restroom is documented at the Hungarian Garden. Plan a restroom stop before arrival; the Rockefeller Park Greenhouse is farther north and its restrooms follow separate 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. building hours.

Self-guided outdoor visits are free. Guided tours, permits and scheduled concerts or programs can have separate requirements.

The upper garden can be approached from East Boulevard and the lower garden from Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, but the wooded slope separates them. Choose one level for a shorter mobility-device visit rather than relying on a direct level-to-level route.

Keep dogs leashed and outside fountains, planted beds and event seating. Posted event restrictions take priority.

The fountain, statues and overlook suit a quiet family stop. There is no playground or documented restroom at this garden, and adults should supervise children near the slope and streets.

Search results often show only the upper fountain garden, while the Hungarian Garden also has a lower MLK Boulevard section. Pick the level before navigating and check the calendar when a concert is scheduled.

RTA service reaches University Circle and nearby corridors, but the gardens span a long route; choose the intended garden before selecting a stop.
