Brooklyn Bridge Park

Open daily 6 AM-1 AM. Playgrounds are sunrise-sunset and individual piers, restrooms, Water Lab, sports, and seasonal attractions keep shorter hours.

Parking is very limited. Transit, ferry, biking, and walking are recommended; limited metered spaces are near Pier 2 and paid garages are near Piers 1 and 6.

Fulton Ferry Landing and DUMBO entrances serve the north; 360 Furman Street serves the south. NYC Ferry stops at Fulton Ferry Landing and Pier 6.

Restrooms are at Pier 1 Pavilion, Pier 2, Pier 5 Boathouse, Pier 6, Squibb Park, 99 Plymouth, and Empire Stores. March-October hours are generally 7 AM-11 PM and winter hours are shorter.

Park entry is free and most public programming is free. Food, carousel, rink, concessions, and some recreation cost extra.

Promenades and major piers are accessible. Access-A-Ride can use 1 Water Street for Pier 1 or 360 Furman Street for the south end.

Dogs must be leashed and remain on permitted paths except in designated dog runs. Dogs are not allowed on lawns, playgrounds, sports surfaces, or beaches.

Pier 6 playgrounds and Water Lab, Pier 2 sports, lawns, Jane's Carousel, Pebble Beach, and ferry views make this one of the city's strongest family park clusters.

A/C, 2/3, 4/5, F, and R trains plus several buses serve different edges. Ferry stops can eliminate long walks between the street grid and waterfront.

Swimming and wading at Pier 4 Beach are prohibited because of strong currents, vessel traffic, cold water, and water quality. Waterfront weather changes quickly; check park alerts before events.

Check New York City's hourly forecast, heat index, rain, wind, air quality, and sunset. Waterfront, island, and elevated parks can feel windier and more exposed than nearby streets.
