Floyd Lamb Park at Tule Springs

Open 8:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. April-September and 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. October-March. Special events and free-entry holidays can alter normal operations.

Enter at the Tule Springs Road gatehouse and pay by debit or credit card. Parking is distributed near the ranch, lakes and picnic areas; special events may redirect vehicles.

Use the official 9200 Tule Springs Road entrance rather than nearby Fossil Beds or Ice Age Fossils State Park pins. The ranch and lakes are inside the paid City park gate.

Restrooms are available in developed park and event areas. Carry water on horse, mountain-bike and outer walking routes where facilities are sparse.

Vehicle entry is $6 and the gatehouse is cashless. Annual household passes are available; fishing requires a Nevada license except on specifically announced free-fishing days.

Developed ranch, lake and picnic areas have paved or firm approaches, while horse and bike routes use natural surfaces. Confirm the nearest accessible parking for an event.

Leashed dogs are allowed under posted City rules. Keep pets away from peacocks, waterfowl, horses and other wildlife, and never allow chasing or feeding.

Lakes, historic ranch buildings, peacocks and shaded lawns make this a calmer family destination than exposed desert trails. Children still need supervision beside open water and animals.

The park is difficult to reach efficiently by transit. Driving or a prearranged ride is usually necessary; confirm return service before a rideshare drop-off.

The entrance kiosk no longer accepts cash, and the park is distinct from the adjacent national monument and state fossil park. Do not feed peacocks or other wildlife, even when they approach picnic areas.

Check current Southern Nevada weather and operator alerts. Extreme heat, UV, flash flooding, lightning, high wind, wildfire smoke and fire restrictions can close trails, roads, water access or outdoor facilities independently.
