Zorinsky Lake Park

This is not a designated off-leash park; keep the dog leashed and remove waste throughout the visit.

The lake recreation area has no designated swimming beach or splash pad; its listed water activities center on fishing and no-wake boating. Zorinsky Pool at 3808 S. 156th Street is a separate staffed City of Omaha aquatic facility near the park and follows seasonal hours, admission, and capacity rules. Navigate to the pool specifically and confirm it is open rather than entering the lake for family swimming.

Do not assume a Metro bus stops at a park entrance. Zorinsky is a large west-Omaha lake with access points around 156th Street, F Street, and nearby neighborhoods, and the final distance can be substantial. Zorinsky Lake is the park's central landmark, but trails, fishing access, sports fields, playgrounds, shelters, and the aquatic center use different sides and entrances around the large west-Omaha reservoir. Choose the exact trailhead, shelter, pool, or lake access before driving rather than following a pin to the middle of the water. Allow extra time for the loop and check City notices for trail, water-quality, construction, or seasonal facility changes.
