701 Harris Road, Wake Forest, NC 27587. Follow park signs for the restored farm buildings, gardens, amphitheater, community center, trails, fishing area, and event parking.

Use the signed lots at 701 Harris Road and choose the area nearest your destination. Major concerts and community events use special parking and traffic plans, so follow current Town instructions rather than assuming the ordinary lot pattern.

The outdoor park is open daily from dawn to dusk. The community center, rentals, performances, fishing, programs, and special events may follow separate schedules.

General park, trail, garden, historic-area, and open-space access is free. Community-center programs, amphitheater or garden rentals, classes, and special events may require registration or fees.

Restrooms are available in developed park and community-center areas during their operating periods. Building access and event facilities may not remain open for every dawn-to-dusk trail visit.

Paved routes serve the community center and major park destinations, and the three-mile trail system supports wheeled mobility on developed surfaces. Lawns, gardens, fishing edges, historic structures, and crowded events can present different grades or surfaces.

The park has about three miles of paved trails suitable for walking, biking, and in-line skating. Use posted etiquette, control speed around walkers and events, and allow extra distance when looping among the gardens, farm structures, and community center.

Families can explore the paved trails, historic farm buildings, gardens, pecan grove, stone ribbon wall, fishing area, StoryWalk and TRACK Trail activities, concerts, and open lawns. This park does not center on a conventional playground.

Dogs must remain leashed, and visitors must remove waste; receptacles and bags are provided. Keep pets out of buildings, sensitive gardens, crowded performance areas, and places where posted event rules prohibit them.

The park provides charcoal grills and rentable open spaces, gardens, and event facilities. Personal grills are prohibited, so use only Town-provided grills and reserve spaces when planning a group gathering.

Look for the restored Walker farm buildings, pecan grove, 1,000-seat lawn amphitheater, Walker Garden, Performance Garden, 2,000-foot stone ribbon wall, paved trail loops, community center, and fishing water.

Concerts, rentals, large events, construction, storms, fishing conditions, and maintenance can affect individual areas. A separate skate park and pump track project is still in design and should not be represented as currently available.
