Oak Hollow Park

Use Oak Hollow Marina at 3431 North Centennial Street for launches, fishing, rentals, playground and staff. Festival Park, Sailboat Point, North Overlook, campground, tennis, and golf have separate entrances around the 1,500-acre complex.

Route to the exact sub-area rather than 'Oak Hollow Park.' Use 3431 North Centennial Street for the marina; Festival Park is at 1841 Eastchester Drive, while campground, golf, tennis, overlooks, and Sailboat Point use separate access.

Oak Hollow Marina is open daily on a seasonal schedule, currently 7 a.m.-8 p.m. August 3-September 6. Sailboat Point, North Overlook, and Festival Park close 45, 25, and 15 minutes before the marina; other facilities differ.

General scenic park access is free. Bank fishing, boat launches and rentals, camping, golf, tennis, shelters, programs, and events charge separate fees; a state fishing license is also required where applicable.

Restrooms are available at developed facilities including the marina and Festival Park during operating conditions. Do not assume they are open at every overlook, shoreline area, or after a sub-area's earlier closing time.

The marina lists an accessible playground, boat launch, bank-fishing area, and fishing pier. Accessibility at shelters, campground, rowing areas, golf, tennis, and shoreline terrain varies by subsite.

Oak Hollow is organized around reservoir recreation and distinct park facilities rather than one continuous public shoreline trail. Use the official park map and avoid restricted water-supply areas.

The accessible playground, fishing pier, Festival Park picnics, paddling, camping, and events support family visits, but swimming in Oak Hollow Lake is prohibited and each subsite has its own schedule.

Keep dogs leashed in allowed public areas, remove waste, and follow separate rules at the marina, campground, playground, golf, tennis, event, and boating facilities.

Reservable shelters are available at Festival Park, North Overlook, and Sailboat Point. Choose the exact lake view and facility access needed, and note each area closes before the marina.

The complex includes Oak Hollow Marina, accessible fishing pier and playground, Festival Park and dam, Sailboat Point, North Overlook, campground, golf course, tennis center, rowing areas, and 11-site boat-access fishing trail.

The lake will close to motorized launches until 1 p.m. on August 8, 2026 for the High Point Sprint Triathlon; marina and playground remain accessible. Weather, water levels, races, rentals, and maintenance can cause other changes.
