General park and trail access are free. Aquatic-center admission, rides, miniature golf, boat rentals and launches, fishing, tours, shelters, and event rentals charge separate fees.

Restrooms serve developed recreation areas, and additional trail restrooms are near the Camp Ann parking lot and nearby Piedmont Environmental Center during open hours. Availability varies by season and attraction.

The aquatic center includes zero-depth entry and accessible locker rooms. Developed attractions and paths provide accessible options, but marina transfers, amusement loading, shelters, trails, and temporary event routes vary.

A 0.6-mile City Lake Park Trail crosses the Arnold J. Koonce Jr. City Lake area and connects to PEC, the High Point Greenway, and Bicentennial Greenway.
