Bog Garden at Benjamin Park

The garden is at 1101 Hobbs Road opposite Tanger Family Bicentennial Garden. Do not travel for parking or boardwalk access until the City removes the construction closure.

The garden is currently closed for construction until further notice. Normal hours begin at 8 a.m. with seasonal closing times when the City reopens it.

Ordinary garden access is free when open. Event reservations and paid professional photography require fees or permits.

Do not rely on garden facilities while the site is closed. After reopening, confirm restroom availability and the best accessible route on the current City page.

The signature route is an elevated boardwalk through wetlands. Construction may change surfaces, railings, approaches, and accessible routing, so reassess after reopening.

The principal experience is an elevated wood-plank boardwalk through seven acres of wetlands. It is not currently accessible because the garden is closed for construction.

After reopening, the boardwalk, wetland habitat, wildlife viewing, and waterfall can support a short family nature visit. Children need close supervision on boardwalks and near water.

Pet access should be confirmed after construction because narrow boardwalks, wildlife habitat, events, and updated site rules may affect dogs.

This is primarily a boardwalk and wetland garden, not a general picnic park. Serenity Falls can be reserved for small ceremonies after reopening.

The main landmarks are the elevated wetland boardwalk and Serenity Falls, a recirculating waterfall used as an event backdrop.

The entire Bog Garden is closed for construction until further notice. Treat all normal-hours information as suspended until the City explicitly announces reopening.
