Use 701 Stadium Drive or the Edison Johnson facility parking based on your destination. Major festivals need overflow plans and can change internal traffic and parking access.

Outdoor park and dog-park areas are open dawn to dusk. Recreation, aquatic, event, court, and sprayground facilities use separate schedules.

General outdoor park, playground, trail, fitness equipment, and ordinary recreation access are free. Aquatics, rentals, programs, reservations, and major events may charge.

Restrooms are listed at the park and recreation facilities, but operating access varies. The park water fountain and dog-park water pump are currently shut off for emergency maintenance.

Developed parking, paved connections, recreation facilities, event space, and play areas provide accessible options. Confirm the route to the dog park, which lies along the Rock Quarry Spur Trail.

A short trail connects the recreation and aquatic centers with the large field and tennis courts, and the Rock Quarry Spur Trail reaches the dog park.

Families can use the playground, swings, fitness area, courts, picnic tables, recreation programs, and aquatic center when open. The sprayground is currently closed under water restrictions.

The registered-dog facility has small, large, and program areas. It closes 7 a.m.-noon on the third Monday monthly for maintenance, and the dog-park water pump is currently unavailable.

Picnic tables and a grill are available, while the event lawn and indoor rooms require reservations. Large events must provide additional off-site parking.

Major destinations include Edison Johnson Recreation Center, Aquatic Center, Rock Quarry Dog Park, playground and sprayground, event field, tennis courts, and outdoor fitness equipment.

All Durham spraygrounds are closed under Stage 2 water restrictions. The park water fountain and dog-park pump are shut off until further notice, and the dog park has a recurring third-Monday maintenance closure.
