Use 1639 University Drive and follow internal signs for the playground, courts, pool area, clubhouse, or shelter. Busy programs and court reservations can affect the closest spaces.

The outdoor park is open dawn to dusk. The pool, sprayground, clubhouse, court reservations, and shelter use separate schedules and current closure notices.

General park, playground, courts when unreserved, and trail access are free. Pool admission, rentals, programs, and reservations may charge separately; the pool is currently closed.

Restroom access is associated with developed facilities and their operating conditions. Do not assume pool or clubhouse restrooms are available while those facilities are closed.

Developed park paths, play areas, courts, and facilities provide practical arrival options, but grades, older infrastructure, event setups, and facility closures can affect exact routes.

The park provides greenway or trail access through its rolling neighborhood landscape. Surfaces and grades vary between developed paths, lawn edges, and connections.

Families normally use the playground, toddler and standard swings, picnic shelter, courts, and sprayground. The sprayground and pool are currently unavailable.

The park's main destinations are the playground and sprayground area, Forest Hills Pool, historic neighborhood clubhouse, tennis and pickleball courts, and picnic shelter.

Forest Hills Pool is closed for the 2026 season. The sprayground is closed under Durham's Stage 2 water restrictions and also has a separate water-leak closure; verify both before expecting water play.
